While checking out new music releases this week, I was sexily surprised to see that Gogol Bordello had a new album out, produced by Rick Rubin and entitled Trans-Continental Hustle. As a long time fan of those guys, and of Rubin as a producer, I immediately bought the album and have been listening to it non-stop.

Trans-Continental Hustle offers more of what makes these guys awesome, a blend of traditional Old World sounds and raw, boisterous rock and roll. With this album, they seem to have incorporated even more varied styles from around the world into their sound. The result is something that sounds like a drunken, gypsy dance party taking place on every continent at once.
